About us

Working in veterinary hospitals for years, I was always asked by clients for an alternative to those plastic cones that dogs wear after surgery. They can create more problems for the dogs — from bumping into things to trouble eating or drinking, even sleeping. That's when my concept began for Cover Me by Tui, a breathable, one-piece, post-surgical pet garment. We always say, 'They're cute with a purpose.'

What we did

Video lets us show potential customers why my alternative is a better choice for their dogs. They can see how it works, how to put it on, how comfortable and practical it is. And video ad targeting helped us reach the right customers — people searching for pet supplies, veterinarians and dogs. We now sell to over 500 veterinarians across the US and the world and have nearly doubled our sales each year since we started advertising on YouTube.

YouTube is great for people who are just starting a new business, or for small business owners like myself, because we're all on a budget. Starting with just $5 a day for video advertising, we were able to reach an enormous number of people interested in helping their healing pets. I feel like I'm living the American dream to have come up with an idea like this and turn it into a success. And I think a lot of dogs are happier right now, too.
