Nayna started her YouTube channel two years ago, focusing on ethical living and offering her viewers tips and tricks on how to live a more sustainable life. Using a casual style, Nayna engages with her viewers like she’s your best friend or sister, giving advice on mindfulness, simple and affordable ways to help save the planet as well as exciting vegan recipes. Nayna’s corner of the internet is the place to be. Her videos are regularly viewed over 100,000 times and her success on YouTube has led to her starting her own podcast, Growing with the Flow, where Nayna talks about her experiences of navigating adulthood.

I'm a student at The University of Edinburgh sharing positive energy and vlogs of my everyday life. I created my channel to be a creative outlet outside of academics and am most proud of my university and fashion videos. As in my life, I focus my content on ethical living and leaving viewers feeling happy and inspired. I’m so excited about all the opportunities that YouTube has led to, I can’t wait to take all my followers on the same journey with me!
Lifestyle

The goal of Vanessa Kanbi’s channel is simple: sharing the culture of Ghana with the world. Born in Edinburgh, Vanessa started her YouTube journey in 2017 with parental videos and pivoted to dedicating her videos to exploring the culture, real estate, and personal stories of people who have moved from the diaspora to the west African country in 2019. Vanessa is passionate about using her channel as a lens to show Ghana in all its beauty, believing that it is too often poorly portrayed in mainstream media. Having spent a considerable amount of time there, last month Vanessa made the decision to move to Ghana, and now documents her day-to-day experiences to provide her viewers with knowledge on all aspects of life in Ghana.

Creating content on YouTube gives me a real freedom to pursue my passions and share them with a global audience. The fact that I have been able to monetise my channel means that I’ve been blessed to turn a hobby into a legitimate career - something that I could only have dreamt of when growing up.
